What is NB-IOT?

Narrowband IoT, also known as LTE Cat NB1, is an emerging LPWAN technology. It connects devices more easily and efficiently on the already established 4G (LTE) mobile network. It is sized to receive and send small amounts of data and is completely secure and reliable. NB-IoT uses a specific frequency that is strong enough to pass through thick walls and can even be used underground. As a result, it offers cover in challenging situations.

How does it exactly works?

With NB-IOT communication, data is accessed from a 'device'. A secured simcard is placed in a 'device'. The APN provided by us must be configured in the 'device' settings. The intelligent simcard then has access to the NB-IOT network. The 'device' can then establish a successful connection and is assigned an IP address.

What are the benefits of NB-IOT?
